This review is from: Haier Black & Decker BPC08CJ Portable Air Conditioner, 8000-BTU (Misc.) The units arrrived earlier than advertized which was a blessing during the NYC summer heat. The units are not quiet as central air, of course, but what is? They are at least as quiet as window-bangers, a lot better looking and a much easier to remove if you do not need them.
