Haier CPN11XCJ 11,000 BTU Commercial Portable Air Conditioner is combines air conditioner, fan function with three speed setting and dehumidifier function, making this portable air conditioner a 3-in-1 home comfort system. It can be counted on to provide 11,000 BTU of cooling capacity for a room up to 350 sq ft. Dehumidifying in air conditioning mode can collect up to 90 pints per day. Haier CPN11XCJ also features Auto Evaporation technology which automatically dehumidifies the air without the inconvenience of water removal. The exhaust kit is a cinch to install and less obtrusive than traditional window models. This Haier 11,000 BTU portable ac uses R-410A refrigerant, which reduces energy consumption and increases performance, without releasing any ozone depleting chemicals into the environment. Its fully-functional remote control can be used to turn the air conditioner on and off, toggle between modes, select fan settings, program the clock and set the auto timer. Other specs include blue LCD panel display, Washable air filter and Four built-in rolling casters.

I should mention, I also have a tall fan behind the air conditioner, so it boosts the cool air throughout the room quickly. It is there anyway to pull in cool air at night, even if I don't need the air conditioner. In order to use it with my casement windows (hinged vertically to swing in and out like a door and operated with a crank) I had to drop the exhaust hose out the window. This worked, but I was a bit uncomfortable with my house looking like I had a big white elephant with its trunk hanging out my window. It rolls easily, connects to the window very easily, cools like a dream and I have already recommended one to several friends. If you need just a little cooling boast, especially on a second floor without a separate central unit, this is the machine to take care of your cooling needs. I should have purchased it years ago. Unfortunately, I always thought the tube that goes out the window was for water to be expelled - this is not the case. These units are virtually water free. The window connection is for the hot air to be blown out - who would have thought! When the weather cools, just remove the window connection and roll it into a closet. Wonderful. |
